VIJAYA DURGA TECHNO SYSTEMS is an ISO 9001:2015–certified Hyderabad-based company specializing in the design, fabrication, and supply of FRP products, driver control desk components for railways, and pre-engineered buildings for industrial and commercial applications. They had their application stack setup on Azure and in a physical data centre. The challenge was managing the infrastructure in two different locations apart from security and performance. Anjana Cloud Services migrated their application components from Azure and Data Centre to AWS and resolved the issues related to performance, security, cost and infrastructure management overhead.

The Client
Vijaya Durga Techno Systems operates complex manufacturing and ERP systems to manage production, inventory, quality control, and project delivery across multiple facilities. The client is a mid-sized manufacturing organization operating across multiple locations, utilizing a suite of ERP and business applications to manage core operations such as production, inventory, quality control, and project execution. Their infrastructure, primarily built on Microsoft Windows workloads—including Active Directory, Microsoft SQL Server, and line-of-business applications—was previously distributed across an on-premises data center and Azure cloud. This hybrid setup led to challenges in infrastructure management, including inconsistent performance, increased operational overhead, and difficulty maintaining centralized control over identity, security, and compliance.
The Challenge
The Client faced significant challenges due to a fragmented infrastructure setup, with workloads spread across Azure and on-premises environments. This split architecture led to inconsistent performance, configuration drift, and increased operational complexity. The absence of automated systems meant manual backups and performance tuning were consuming valuable engineering time and resources. Furthermore, the lack of centralized control introduced security and compliance gaps, making it difficult to enforce consistent access policies and data protection standards. Additionally, running underutilized resources across multiple platforms resulted in escalating operational costs, further impacting the company's agility and growth plans.
The Solution
Anjana Cloud Services conducted a comprehensive assessment of the client's legacy infrastructure, which consisted of Microsoft Windows workloads hosted across on-premises data centers and Azure cloud environments. To address challenges related to performance inconsistency, security gaps, and infrastructure sprawl, a complete migration to AWS was recommended. The solution involved transitioning Windows Servers, Active Directory, and Microsoft SQL Server workloads to AWS using services such as AWS Server Migration Service (SMS) and AWS Database Migration Service (DMS). The architecture was carefully designed to ensure minimal downtime during cutover, leveraging continuous data replication and a phased migration approach. Key AWS services—including Amazon EC2 for Windows, Amazon RDS for SQL Server, Amazon S3 for scalable storage were utilized to build a secure, resilient, and cost-optimized environment. Post-migration, the client benefited from simplified operations, improved scalability, enhanced security, and seamless integration with cloud-native services—laying the foundation for long-term digital transformation
