They are specialized into HIPAA compliant Medical Coding and Medical Billing services providing end-to-end business process outsourcing services to their customers. They had their application stack setup on Azure and in a physical data centre. The challenge was managing the infrastructure in two different locations apart from security and performance. Anjana Cloud Services migrated their application components from Azure and Data Centre to AWS and resolved the issues related to performance, security, cost and infrastructure management overhead.

The Client

Talluri Technologies is a US based leading services and solutions Development Company for the customers in the healthcare domain. They are specialized into HIPAA compliant Medical Coding and Medical Billing services providing end-to-end business process outsourcing services to their customers. Their expertise also lies into managing the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM). Their flagship product “Medisoft” provides feature rich solutions enabling their customers access the billing and coding services almost instantly from anywhere and at any time. “

The Challenge

The client had their infrastructure setup in Azure and on-premises. The challenge was managing the infrastructure at 2 different locations and higher costs of hosting the applications and also need in meeting the expectations of the customers in terms of delivering the stable and sustainable service through scalable, secured and reliable infrastructure solution apart from cost-optimization, security and Time to Live (TTL) Management was another important factor that the customer wanted to achieve, as the application will be accessed by the end users across the globe for which end users needs to get access to the application with minimal latency in network across the globe. The customer is facing security challenges due to increasing cyber threats, including DDoS attacks, SQL injection attempts, and malicious bots. Security and scaling were another concern which the client wanted to resolve apart from improving the performance of the application access to their end users.

The Solution

Anjana Cloud Services assessed the customer’s hybrid infrastructure and executed a seamless migration to AWS, following best practices for modernizing Windows workloads. Windows Server instances, including domain controllers and file services, were migrated using AWS SMS, while Microsoft SQL Server databases moved to Amazon RDS with minimal downtime via AWS DMS. Active Directory was modernized with AWS Managed Microsoft AD for scalability and simplified management. Amazon CloudFront and AWS WAF enabled secure and efficient content delivery, while ALB and Auto Scaling ensured high availability. Security and governance were strengthened with AWS Config, IAM, CloudTrail, and CloudWatch, while EC2, RDS, and S3 addressed compute, database, and storage needs. AWS Systems Manager further streamlined patching and session management. To enhance automation, AWS Lambda was introduced to process S3 workloads such as validation, metadata tagging, and storing structured data in Amazon RDS for Microsoft SQL Server. Event-driven tasks like session cleanup, claims workflows, and notifications were managed with Lambda and Amazon SNS. Deployment was automated through AWS SAM, ensuring consistency and reusability. Security was embedded with IAM least-privilege access, data encryption via AWS KMS, and secure parameter management in Systems Manager. CloudWatch and SNS delivered real-time monitoring and alerts, while AWS WAF safeguarded APIs against malicious traffic. With Lambda handling scaling and patching, the customer achieved a secure, compliant, and cost-efficient platform that improved reliability, reduced overhead, and enabled business agility..
